In a desperate effort to bring over 40 years of underride tragedy to its long-overdue and final conclusion, victim/survivors and truck safety advocates from around the world have joined together to form the UNDERRIDE NETWORK. A coalition of volunteers working to educate government officials, law enforcement, trucking companies, and the motoring public to the devastating costs of continued tolerance of unsafe practices and equipment by the trucking industry.

Until victim/survivors are allowed to participate in government decisions and programs, solutions to this serious problem will continue to elude us. Support of survivors and families of underride crash victims will be a top priority. The UNDERRIDE NETWORK will work for strict enforcement of current laws, enhanced safety equipment on all trucks, increased inspections and education efforts, increased funding for safety related research, and for passage of tough new laws in all countries and jurisdictions. The victims and survivors of underride crashes cry out for justice, for an end to the unnecessary death, pain, and suffering. The time for an end to this preventable tragedy has come.
