Underride Victims

Victims are the motivation and the reason for pursuing safety. When the FMCSA refuses to include Underride victims on their website and in their safety publications and research efforts they halt certain safety efforts. They do not recommend change and they do not educate the public and industry to a shared vision for safety. They blame victims and do not begin efforts towards complete solutions, they fail to save all of the victims. The FMCSA must recommend safer equipment choices for industry, they must fund truck safety education campaigns that do not just blame car drivers but present a complete and shared vision of safety. They must grow an safety culture, they must try to save all of the victims.
